Programme leader

Gavin Oh is the Senior Partner, COO and Managing Director of a consultancy firm. With more than 10 years of management experience and another 19 years in training and consulting, he is qualified in all aspects of business management. Gavin was involved with other organisations in supply chain and Enterprise Resource Planning projects and assisted IBM in transforming their sales force towards high performance selling teams. He has also worked in various countries including USA, China, Taiwan and Thailand. Gavin received his B.Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Certified Project Management Professional® (PMP), IPMA Level C Certified and PRINCE2 Certified Trainer. He is proficient in both English and Mandarin.

Heng Cho Hiong is a full time project management and Lean Six Sigma trainer, coach & consultant for cross industry clients. He has more than 20 years of programme & project management experience previously in driving strategic and business process transformation projects in Microsoft, GE, Accenture and Singapore Technologies. Mr Heng’s industry domain experience includes IT, high-tech manufacturing, oil & gas, healthcare, supply chain and public sector. Mr Heng is a certified Project Management Professional® (PMP) and a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He is the course developer of a new Lean Six Sigma course and a tutor on Business Statistics at the School of Business in Singapore University of Social Sciences. Mr Heng has an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK) and B.Eng Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore. 

Dr Sherman Ong is a director and principal consultant at a business consultancy firm. He has over 31 years of extensive business experience across the high technology aerospace and defence manufacturing, information technology and communications, public healthcare and higher institute of learning education industries. He held senior management positions over a span of 21 years, impacting lives across these four industry sectors. He was also involved in three start-up businesses across the Asia Pacific region.

As a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach, he engages clients to coach them for their personal talent growth and strengths development. Dr Ong is a passionate communicator and loves teaching, training, coaching and mentoring. His life mission statement is: Live Best; Leave Best!

As a Certified Lean Healthcare Leader, Dr Ong engages clients in clinical process improvement, quality healthcare services, enterprise risk management and lean healthcare management. As a principal consultant, he continues to engage clients in project management, business process improvement, supply chain optimisation and enterprise risk management practices.

He is a regular speaker at conferences, symposiums and industry forums giving keynote speeches on change management, supply chain integration, business process re-engineering, transformational leadership, lean optimisation, project management and operations optimisation, one-to-one marketing, and strategic business management. Dr Ong is proficient in both English and Mandarin.
