Jimmy Tan is Principal Consultant of his own consultancy firm, a total learning solutions provider focusing on cutting edge programs. He has more than 25 years’ corporate experience, having held senior management positions in Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Training, Manufacturing and Logistics with leading American and European MNCs, including worldwide and regional responsibilities.

Prior to founding the firm, Jimmy was Director of Entrepreneurship at THOMSON, the world’s 4th largest consumer electronics producer with annual sales of US$6.5 billion, and 55,000 employees in more than 30 countries. In that role, he spearheaded worldwide initiatives in entrepreneurship and innovation, and was a prime mover in launching a global Knowledge Community to harness organizational expertise. His previous portfolio as Regional Manager, Human Resources & Training - Asia covered a workforce of 15,000 in 12 countries in the region.

Jimmy is a top Master Trainer in South East Asia for the bestselling program, FISH!. He is also a Certified Change Leader who has delivered ‘Who Moved My Cheese?’ and ‘Shackleton’s Way: Leading in Challenging Times’, a cutting edge leadership program for senior executives. Jimmy is also certified in Tony Buzan’s Mind Mapping® & Advanced Learning Strategy. He has facilitated training in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific, and presented at international conferences. His forte lies in his versatility and ability draw on his corporate experience to relate to participants at all levels, from CEO’s to shop floor employees. He has facilitated programs from highly strategic interventions for boards of directors, to motivational talks for blue collar workers.

More than 20,000 people have attended his seminars and talks, including top executives from leading organizations. Jimmy received his Masters degree in Business Analysis (Distinction) from the University of Lancaster, UK, graduating at the top of an international cohort. He has also completed a Fellowship Program with the Innovation University (USA).
