In collaboration with Senator Manuel “Lito” Mercado Lapid’s Lingkod Lapid Program, SIM has established a strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU was signed at SIM Management House by SIM Academy CEO Mr Ho Seong Kim and Senator Lapid. Distinguished guests, including Governor Mark Lapid and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines in Singapore, Mr Medardo Macaraig, graced the event.

The Lingkod Lapid Program aims to empower Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Singapore through upskilling and professional development. This new initiative with SIM focuses on Critical Core Skills - Creative Thinking and equips OFWs with essential capabilities to advance their career prospects and overall well-being. Serving as a pilot engagement under the Senator’s initiative, this initiative is envisioned to expand and be sustained over the next four years, ensuring continuous learning opportunities for OFWs living and working in Singapore’s dynamic economy.

This partnership marks a significant step in empowering OFWs in Singapore and contributing to their professional growth through targeted learning initiatives that support their long-term success.
