2023 SIM OAC Indonesia - Event Highlights

What a night it was at the OAC Indonesia Event! Our highly anticipated gathering for SIM Indonesian Alumni held at the prestigious Pullman Thamrin Hotel, Jakarta, on 12 May 2023, as we came together to reconnect, establish new connections, and have an absolute blast! We kicked off the evening with a welcome note from Mr. Gerald Lum, followed by the appointment of our Pro Tem President, Ms. Keisha Ardaneswari, and Secretary, Mr. Stephen Santoso. It was a momentous occasion, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter for our vibrant alumni community!

The event featured a series of engaging talks. The first speaker, Ms. Julia Simatupang, Country Manager & Chief Representative of ACCA Indonesia, graced the stage with her remarkable expertise. She delved into a topic that resonated deeply with the challenges we face in the ever-evolving landscape of work: "10 Leadership Traits in the Future of Work." Being adaptable, having empathy and building resilience were some of the key traits shared.

Adding to the dynamic line-up, Ms. Rahma Nadia Zahra, Project Manager of PT Otodidact Kreatif Mandiri, took the stage as the second speaker of the night. Her enthralling talk centered on entrepreneurship and the realities of running one's own business. She shared about steps required to start a business, tips to sustain a business and challenges faced being an entrepreneur.

And let's not forget the incredible lucky draw that awaited us at the end of the event! Anticipation filled the air as attendees eagerly awaited the chance to win fabulous prizes. The room was buzzing with excitement as lucky winners were announced, adding an extra layer of fun and surprise to the already unforgettable evening!
