EduTrust Certification and Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) Registration

Singapore Institute of Management Pte Ltd, which offers programmes under SIM Global Education, is among the first private education institutions (PEIs) to be registered under the Committee for Private Education’s (CPE) Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), a mandatory registration for all PEIs operating in and from Singapore.

SIM Global Education has also been awarded the EduTrust Certification by the CPE since May 2010. SIM GE has also attained the EduTrust Star award^* in August 2022. This certification recognises PEIs that have put in place robust academic systems and processes, and have attained quality standards in the delivery of education.

*The EduTrust Star award is given to Private Education Institutions (PEIs) for attaining a commendable level of performance in managing their institutions and providing an outstanding quality of education and welfare for their students. This mark is a symbol of recognition for outstanding achievement.

Business Continuity Management System Certified to be Compliant with ISO 22301:2019

SIM’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) System safeguards the interests of our stakeholders by ensuring the prompt resumption of essential teaching, academic and admission services in the event of business disruption. Our BCM System is certified to be compliant with the requirements of ISO 22301:2019.

bizSAFE Level 3 Certification

The bizSAFE programme by the Workplace Safety and Health Council aims to help companies build workplace safety and health capabilities. This certification indicates that SIM has put in place the necessary measures to ensure a safe, healthy and secure workplace for our staff, students, faculty and visitors.

SIM Global Education Voted a Preferred Private Education Institute

SIM Global Education has been voted by course-seekers as one of their preferred private education institutes for furthering their education in the JobsCentral Learning Survey 2015 covering 2,932 respondents.

People’s Choice TOP 3 Best Private Institute

For the eighth year running, SIM GE has been voted Top 3 best private institute by AsiaOne readers at the AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards 2016.

Winners are based on close to 200,000 votes cast by the public over a three-month voting period.

SIM GE was inducted into the Hall of Fame at AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards 2013. The Hall of Fame honour is bestowed on winners who have been voted Number 1 in the AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards five times.

AsiaOne People’s Choice

In 2008, SIM GE was voted number one for AsiaOne People’s Choice 2008 Top 10 Private Schools in Singapore, garnering 75% of all votes casted by AsiaOne readers. This was the first time that the Private Schools Category was introduced into the survey.

Creative Circle Awards

SIM GE won a total of two Golds and five Silvers at the Creative Circles Awards 2007 for its ‘edgy’ creativity as seen in the “Build Your Own Future” campaign. The campaign comprises three television commercials (TVCs) titled “SIM Freud”, “SIM Einstein” and “SIM Shakespeare”.

The Creative Circle Awards, also known as The Gong Show, is a celebrated event in the advertising industry. It was even likened to the “Oscars” of the industry.

SIM GE clinched the Bronze Award at the iNOVA Awards 2011.

iNOVA Awards is an international award to recognise and promote achievement in creative design, written content and performance of corporate websites.

Judges are professional Web designers, creative directors, and chief executives of creative agencies from the US, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and Australia.

SIM GE won the Outstanding Achievement Award for The Interactive Media Awards™ 2014.

This award recognises the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honour individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements.

Singapore Experience Awards

SIM GE was one of the three finalists at the Singapore Experience Awards 2010 & 2011 for Best Education Experience.

This recognition by the Singapore Tourism Board affirmed SIM GE’s commitment to offering one of the best education experiences in Singapore via VIBES@SIM.

Singapore’s Fastest Growing 50 Companies

SIM Pte Ltd (SIM PL) topped the rankings table of 2009 Singapore’s Fastest Growing 50 (FG50) companies. The award is unprecedented as SIM PL is the first education company to make it to such lists.

Over the last three years, SIM PL recorded a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 820.8 per cent. About 8,000 firms from SMEs to larger corporates were assessed for the FG50 list. The FG50 is compiled by business and credit information provider DP Information Group.

STB’s Singapore Education Awards

SIM GE won the ‘Best International Marketing Effort by a Private Educational Institution’ for two consecutive years at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Singapore Education Awards 2009 and 2008.

STB honors the industry’s best in positioning Singapore as an education hub and establishing service excellence in the various areas of education services provision.

Web Marketing Association’s WebAward

In 2011 and 2014, SIM Global Education (SIM GE) received accolades at the Web Marketing Association’s Web Award.
